Dr Asma trained as a GP in Australia and is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Previously Dr Asma worked in Queensland Health hospitals on the Sunshine Coast. As well as general medicine she enjoys the variety that a community practice brings and has special interests in women’s health, mental health and preventative medicine.
Dr Asma was born & raised in Pakistan & completed her initial medical degree at Dow University of health Sciences Karachi. Having worked in different area of medical sciences such as Public health & Microbiology in Pakistan & Malaysia she made Australia home in 2007
